Business Intelligence Analyst III

FALCATA has an immediate need for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to work with the Operations, Business Development, and Finance teams to develop reports in Deltek Cognos BI, build interactive Power BI dashboards, and help maintain a data warehouse that supports consistent, trusted reporting across the organization.

The ideal candidate would be located in the Huntsville, AL with the ability to work on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Cognos Reports that interface with Deltek Costpoint Modules including Accounting, Contracts, Materials, Time & Expense, and Projects and PowerBI dashboards. Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, key performance indicators, and data definitions. Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies, and work with technical and business teams to resolve issues.

Support data warehouse implementation, including data modeling, source integration, testing, and documentation. Help maintain reporting datasets, refresh processes, access controls, and data governance standards. Improve the performance, usability, and reliability of reports, dashboards, and warehouse data. Train users and provide ongoing support for BI tools and self-service reporting.

Required Qualifications: Minimum 5 years’ experience in business intelligence solutions Minimum 3 years’ experience developing Cognos reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases Ability to gather requirements and explain technical findings to nontechnical audiences Analytical and independent problem-solving skills Organizational skills to balance and prioritize work U.

S. Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint Accounting System database schema Experience with Power Query, DAX, and Power BI semantic models Experience working with production and manufacturing data and KPIs Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehousing platforms College/University degree in data analytics, data science, or an equivalent field U.
