Summary: S&K Global Solutions is recruiting engineers in Propulsion Mission Support at the Houston, TX location. We are looking for motivated, talented engineers to join the our team supporting the International Space Station (ISS) project. This requisition is posted at multiple levels A sample of duties include, but are not limited to: JOB REQUIREMENTS Position Responsibilities: Support of propulsion teleconferences, video-conferences, and Technical Interchange Meetings Work with International Partners/Commercial contractors supporting design, implementation, integration, and monitoring of ISS and Visiting Vehicle propulsion elements Development and maintenance of ISS and Visiting Vehicle propulsion element architecture documents and smart-books Provide support to system design, safety and flight operation reviews representing the propulsion integration team Propulsion console support including the development of all products (daily reports, shift reports, etc.)
required by the Mission Evaluation Room managers Issue and anomaly resolution support specific to ISS and Visiting Vehicle propulsion elements Perform propulsion system integration to ensure system performance meets the ISS Program requirements Provide real time mission data, analyses and inputs for propulsion system status monitoring during quiescent and dynamic operations; support issue/anomaly/failure investigations Identify and resolve technical issues, integrate propulsion system aspects with the GN&C and the Vehicle Integrated Performance (VIPER) teams for ISS operations and flight/mission planning impact evaluation Experience: Technical Professional II - 5-10 years experience Technical Professional III - 10-15 years experience Proficiency in Matlab, preferably including application development Basic knowledge of Space Propulsion Systems or aptitude for related fields Prior work experience in one or more areas of spacecraft propulsion system design, analysis, test, integration, operations, and/or safety assessments desirable Education: Bachelor or Master of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations: Current drivers’ license Proof of U.S. citizenship All qualifications, education, and experience listed in the job description must be able to be demonstrated at an appropriate level for the position through evaluation of the resume, testing, and an interview process as appropriate.
