HSE Safety Inspector

Safety Inspector Responsibilities: Inspect work sites, equipment, and activities to identify safety hazards and unsafe practices. Monitor compliance with site HSE procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and PPE standards. Check high-risk activities, including lifting, work at height, and confined-space entry. Report safety observations and follow up on corrective actions.

Support incident investigations, toolbox talks, and safety inspections. Maintain inspection records and prepare safety reports.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant safety inspection experience; oil and gas or industrial project experience preferred. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification preferred. Knowledge of risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and emergency procedures. Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.
