Guardrail Installer with CDL

Long® Fence, the industry leader for over 80 years is seeking an experienced Guardrail Installer with a valid CDL License to join our team based out of Ijamsville, MD. This role is responsible for the installation of highway guardrail systems and the safe operation of heavy trucks in an active, high-traffic work zone.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in physically demanding environments and must be committed to maintaining high safety standards. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-4:00pm Occasional nigh shifts required based on project needs. Shift Requirements: This position may require night shift work. The night shift work is project specific and can be assigned periodically.

Key Responsibilities

Install and repair highway guardrail systems in accordance with company and industry standards. Operate commercial vehicles and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Work in high-traffic environments while adhering to all safety protocols. Load, unload and transport materials to and from job sites. Perform general labor duties as needed to support project completion.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record is required. Experience in construction, roadway work, or guardrail installation. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly. Ability to work outdoors in varying and adverse weather conditions.

Capable of performing physically demanding labor for extended periods of time.

Compensation

Minimum pay rate is $28.00 per hour. Maximum pay rate is $33.00 per hour. Pay rate will be determined based on experience.
