• Acute Care Management JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active Mississippi Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in EM, FM, or IM
• Active DEA with Mississippi Address and Applicable Schedules
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS if not EM Board Certified or EM Trained
• Experience: Over 2,000 ED or Acute Care Contact Hours Within the Past 2 Years
• Other Qualifications: Completed 3-Year EM, FM, or IM Residency; 40 CME Hours in Previous 2 Years; Case Logs for Previous 2 Years; Supervising/Backup Physician for NP/PAs DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Evaluate and treat emergency department patients
• Perform moderate sedation and emergency procedures
• Supervise or provide backup for NP and PA providers
• Document patient encounters and coordinate multidisciplinary care
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care
