• Various Departments Reporting to: Director Hours per week: up to 20 hours per week FLSA: Non-Exempt (paid hourly) Date: February 2026 Purpose: The Intern role at Riverbend Church will be to support a department of interest such as administration, reception, accounting, communications, first impressions, production technology, missions, and/or various ministries such as women’s, men’s, children, mid-life, seniors, students, etc. Riverbend Vision Statement: “We envision a welcoming community, in service to others, compelled by God’s grace.” ______________________________________________________________________________ CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disability Act, may include the characteristic duties, knowledge, skills and abilities noted herein, however, this list represents EXAMPLES ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions found in this job description. ______________________________________________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Learning and Proficiency: Gaining experience in specific software, tools, processes relevant to various ministries within the church setting. Administrative Tasks: Completing tasks assigned by supervisors and attending relevant meetings. Project Participation: Assisting with projects, conducting research and providing creative ideas. Team Collaboration: Engaging with colleagues and participating in group projects. Skill Development: Learning about daily operations and contributing to the church and department goals.

Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail. Proficient with digital systems and church management software. Relational, proactive, and solutions-oriented. Systems-minded thinker who enjoys creating structure and processes that strengthen ministry.

Comfortable planning and executing tasks with attention to both operational detail and spiritual impact.
