Vacancy for the 2026/2027 School Year Responsibility: The secretary is responsible to the Director of Early Childhood.

Qualifications

Proficiency with all components of Google Suite. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Required criminal history background check, physical and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status. (Current employees exempt) Job Summary: Assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office. Performs the usual office routines and practices associated with a busy yet productive and smoothly run office.

Takes and transcribes dictation of various types including correspondence, reports, notices and recommendations or proficiency with the district's designated word processing software. Answers office telephone and responds appropriately to requests for information. Maintains a schedule of and arranges appointments. Orders and maintains supplies as needed.

Performs any bookkeeping tasks associated with the specific position. Operates copy machines and collates material. Maintains the confidentiality of pupil records, employee records and school district data. Maintains office records and files in good order. Coordinates and supervises the activities of clerks and other personnel as assigned.

Supervises the mail process. Performs various other duties as assigned. Location: Country Club Administration Building in the Early Childhood Department Salary Range: W.E.A.
