Python Development Tech Lead

Job Title: Python Development Technical Lead Overview: We are seeking an experienced Python Development Technical Lead that can be highly adaptable to lead agile execution for a fast-paced prototyping initiatives and Development Projects using AI. This role is focused on enabling a cross-functional team to rapidly design, build, and iterate on AI-driven solutions under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Python Development team and perform hands on design and development and assign tasks to the development team Lead Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) with a focus on speed and code production and quality improvement Remove impediments quickly to maintain team momentum in a rapid prototyping environment Partner with product owners, AI engineers, data scientists, and designers to align priorities and sprint goals Promote agile best practices while adapting frameworks to suit experimental and iterative AI development Track sprint progress, velocity, and deliverables; provide transparent reporting to stakeholders Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the team Support backlog grooming and ensure user stories are well-defined and actionable Help manage shifting priorities and evolving requirements typical of AI research and prototyping Encourage rapid experimentation, learning loops, and iterative releases Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Technical Lead 5+ years of hands on experience in Python Development Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and frameworks Experience working with cross-functional technical teams (engineering, data science, product) Proven ability to manage fast-paced, ambiguous projects with changing requirements Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in AI/ML, data science, or rapid prototyping environments Familiarity with tools AWS, DevOPS, CI/CD Experience with Lean Startup or experimentation-driven development Key Traits for Success: Proven success in driving development output Comfort with uncertainty and rapid change Ability to derive development vision Proven ability to solve problems Ability to balance structure with flexibility Passion for innovation and emerging technologies Quick learner Success Metrics: Sprint delivery consistency and velocity Team engagement and collaboration Time-to-prototype and iteration speed Stakeholder satisfaction and alignment Work Environment: Highly dynamic, experimental, and collaborative Short development cycles with frequent iteration Close interaction with AI engineers, product leaders, and stakeholders Summary: This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of development, lead and coordination; at the intersection of agility and innovation—helping teams move quickly from idea to AI-powered prototype while maintaining clarity, focus, and momentum.
