Student Radiology Tech - Cath Lab (PRN)

Job Details: Position Type: Per Diem, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Position Summary Provides clerical and technical support to the Radiology Department under the supervision of the Technical Supervisor or coordinating technologist Primary Duties Patient Care: Completes a comprehensive assessment on patients of all ages under the supervision of a Registered Technologist Obtains pertinent medical history from patient by observation or with oral communication under the supervision of a Registered Technologist Performs patient assessment to determine: Patient’s physical ability to undergo the imaging procedure as needed under the supervision of a Registered Technologist What patient care is needed during the procedure under the supervision of a Registered Technologist What modification of the procedure may be required by the age of the patient under the supervision of a Registered Technologist If there are contraindications to performing the procedure as ordered under the supervision of a Registered Technologist.

Qualifications/Specifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
