Sagis Diagnostics is seeking a Full Time Histology Technician. Monday through Friday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. Houston, TX 77092 Perform histological procedures on tissues. Perform histological preparations. Maintain logs and prepare regular and special reports on procedures for specific tissues. Ensure that laboratory equipment and supplies are clean and sterile and maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory Follow the guidelines of HIPAA, designed to prevent or detect unauthorized disclosure of PHI. Promote a culture of safety for patients and associates through proper identification, proper reporting, documentation and prevention of medical errors in a non-punitive environment. Perform troubleshooting measures that concern the Histology Lab. Maintain daily equipment Quality Control Forms. Help maintain supplies with open/receive dates. Demonstrate skills in technical data interpretation and ability to troubleshoot. Demonstrate ability to take and follow directions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
