Tractor Trailer Mechanic

We are looking to add an experienced Tractor-Trailer Mechanic to our team at our York, PA, location. Steady hours Consistent pay Tool/Boot Allowance Great health benefits for singles and families alike. The position is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Any hours over 40 will be paid as overtime.

Job Summary

Mechanic will perform all assigned Maintenance services on Tractors such as PMs, Brakes, Tire changes, Drum replacements, Electrical work, changing of parts such as alternators, starters, wiper motors, etc. Inspect, trouble shoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on equipment. Order and repair or replace any defective parts, components or systems Test repaired equipment for proper performance.

Completes all work within a safe and timely manner. Completes required paperwork associated with repairs, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with company and regulatory standards- performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Maintain open and timely communication with upper management.
