NAPA Auto Parts- Store Manager

Today, Amtower Auto Supply, Inc. owns and operates 14 NAPA Auto Parts stores across Northern and North Central West Virginia, continuing our long tradition of service, reliability, and community pride. Role Overview The Store Manager leads the team and drives the overall performance of the store. The primary focus is growing sales, achieving sales goals, and building a high performing, customer focused culture.

This role oversees employee development, customer relationships, daily operations, and the protection of company assets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead, Develop, and Manage the Team

• Provide daily leadership and effectively manage people to maintain a productive, engaged workforce.
• Coach, train, and motivate employees to deliver exceptional customer service and strong sales results.
• Monitor individual and team productivity; set expectations and hold employees accountable.
• Use performance incentives, counseling, and corrective measures when needed.
• Build a positive culture where employees feel supported, informed, and aligned with store goals.

1. Drive Sales Growth & Achieve Sales Goals

• Take ownership of store sales performance, market penetration, and profitability.
• Ensure customer sales and service needs are met daily and actively work to expand accounts and relationships.
• Lead the team in delivering a superior customer experience that increases repeat business and long term loyalty.
• Engage directly in sales activities, problem solving, and customer interactions to support revenue growth.

1. Customer Relations & Service Excellence

• Build strong customer relationships in the store and over the phone.
• Support customers with sales and service questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain a customer centric environment that reflects NAPA’s reputation for quality and reliability.
• Conduct regular visits with the store’s top 10 customers to strengthen relationships, understand their needs, identify sales opportunities, and reinforce the store’s commitment to exceptional service.

1. Store Operations & Asset Management

• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, facility upkeep, and safety.
• Ensure the store, stockroom, delivery vehicles, and outside areas remain clean, organized, and ready for business.
• Manage operational procedures, reporting, and daily paperwork accurately and on time.
• Protect company assets through proper inventory control and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
• Automotive knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Strong leadership, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Customer focused mindset with passion for relationship building.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
