URGENT HIRING: TWOS TEACHER

Bambini Montessori Academy is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Twos Teacher to join our team as soon as possible! If you love helping toddlers explore, learn, and become more independent, this is your chance to make a lasting difference during their most important years.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Make Learning Fun: Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with Montessori principles and Maryland Early Learning Standards.
• Support Toddler Development: Encourage independence, creativity, social skills, and developmental milestones.
• Create a Safe Classroom: Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming environment where children can thrive.
• Guide Positive Behavior: Help toddlers follow routines, transition between activities, and build positive relationships.
• Partner with Families: Communicate professionally about children's progress and development.
• Collaborate with Your Team: Work with co-teachers and school leadership to deliver quality care and education.
• Maintain Records & Safety: Complete attendance, progress, and incident reports while following MSDE and OCC licensing requirements.
• Keep Growing: Attend required training, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 19 years old.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of, or willingness to complete, required MSDE training:

• 90-hour Preschool Certification

• 45-hour Child Growth & Development

• 45-hour Preschool Curriculum

• 9-hour Communication Course

• Basic Health & Safety Training

• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

• Maryland State background check and fingerprint clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Montessori certification (AMI, AMS, or MACTE).
• At least 2 years of experience in a licensed early childhood program.
