Senior Member of Technical Staff

Location: United States — Remote Compensation: $200,000–$350,000 USD Start Date: ASAP Languages: Fluent English required Type: Full-time ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Pragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly scaling technology company building sophisticated infrastructure and software systems. We are seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to build core systems, solve challenging engineering problems, and contribute directly to the evolution of the company's technology platform.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, build, and operate production software systems.
• Own significant technical projects from architecture through deployment.
• Develop scalable services, APIs, infrastructure, and internal tooling.
• Solve complex performance, reliability, and scalability challenges.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on technical requirements.
• Participate in architectural decisions and technical design reviews.
• Improve engineering quality, observability, and operational practices.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, Rust, Java, or similar.
• Strong system design and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Experience operating production systems.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

NICE TO HAVE

• AI/ML infrastructure.
• Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• High-scale distributed systems.
• Startup or scale-up experience.
