Patient Ambassador - PT/Evenings - Mercy Jefferson

Under the direct supervision of the Patient Food Services Manager, the Patient Ambassador provides patient focused support services within a multidisciplinary scope, including food and nutrition services, linen, laundry services, housekeeping, and supply management. The Patient Ambassador facilitates the delivery and recovery of patient meals to designated patient rooms or the nursing unit as directed.

Assists with meal order entry via the CBORD software program while following dietary protocols and regulations for ordered diets. Assists with the inventory and stocking of supplies in patient support areas. Assists with make-ready responsibilities for patient meal supplies such as delivery carts and related tabletop items.

Position Details: Location: Mercy Hospital Jefferson 1400 US Highway 61 Festus, Missouri 63028 Hours/Schedule Part-Time Rotating Weekends/Holidays Qualifications: Education : High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Certifications : Food Handlers within 90 days of hire. Skills & Knowledge : Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
