Financial Analyst

Your Role

and Impact As a Financial Analyst, you will support accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting across Flowserve’s Finance organization. You will contribute to end-to-end accounting activities, including General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and closing processes. Working closely with site controllers and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help strengthen internal controls, support audit readiness, and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting quality.

Key Responsibilities

Perform General Ledger accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal-control requirements. Support SOX compliance activities and internal and external audits.

Identify accounting issues and contribute to process-improvement initiatives. Collaborate with site controllers and other stakeholders to support accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare and maintain accounting documentation and standard operating procedures. Support the resolution of financial-reporting and accounting-related queries.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Fluent written and spoken English and Hungarian.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems. Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS. Professional accounting certification. What We Can Offer You Friendly multicultural environment and team events.
