We are currently seeking Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our team, Owner operators.

Job Description: As a Class A CDL Truck Driver at DLC Brothers Transport, You will be responsible for transporting goods via flatbed trailers to various destinations. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading cargo, ensuring secure transportation of goods, and adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate and maneuver flatbed trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Secure cargo using appropriate tie-down/tarp methods and equipment to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and hours of service according to company policies and regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and DOT requirements to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both inside the truck cab and on the flatbed trailer.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Previous experience in flatbed transportation preferred. Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate mechanical loading and unloading equipment. Strong work ethic and dedication to safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work long hours and travel overnight as needed.
