Job description

Posting Title: Radiologist Industry: Health Care Salary: ₹4-4.5 LPM Work Experience: 2+ years Responsibilities: Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy) with clinical accuracy and timeliness. Prepare detailed, comprehensive, and clinically relevant radiology reports for referring physicians.

Collaborate with clinicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide imaging guidance for diagnosis and treatment planning. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to complex diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making. Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols, radiation safety standards, and regulatory compliance (including NABH, NABL, and local health authority guidelines).

Maintain accurate and secure electronic medical records and imaging documentation. Stay current with emerging imaging technologies, protocols, and clinical guidelines through ongoing education and professional development. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior radiology staff, residents, and trainees as needed.

Requirements

MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DM/DNB in Radiology) from a recognized medical institution. Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or equivalent regulatory body. Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center. Proficiency in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities, including cross-sectional imaging (CT/MRI), musculoskeletal, neurological, and abdominal imaging.

Strong understanding of radiation safety, dose optimization, and regulatory standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings clearly to non-radiologists. Proficiency in using PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems), RIS (Radiology Information Systems), and electronic health record platforms.

Willingness to work in a team-based, fast-paced clinical environment with rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. ${Required_Skills}
