Kitchen Manager Location: Westford, MA, 01886 Company: The Outlook Restaurant Job Overview The Outlook Restaurant is seeking a highly motivated working chef to manage the day-to-day operations of our busy kitchen. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead and sustain a high volume kitchen while maintaining organization and preparedness for any challenges that arise.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, schedule, and supervise kitchen personnel, assisting in hiring and staff management. Ensure staff education on food preparation, daily specials, and emphasize the importance of consistency across all restaurant staff. Develop, monitor, and maintain a kitchen sanitation program that complies with all state and federal kitchen standards and regulations.

Maintain high quality food standards through supervision of production, sanitation, and food service. Assist in inventory control, maintaining minimum and maximum par levels, and place daily orders as needed. Perform prep work and work the line during service hours to ensure smooth and efficient food service operations.

Ensure all food production, storage, and service areas comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Communicate effectively with other Managers about food quality and consistency during shift. Communicate respectfully and efficiently with front of house staff during shift and before shift about specials, 86'd item etc.

Qualifications

& Skills Experience managing a high volume kitchen a plus. Experience in working multiple stations in a high volume kitchen. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple challenges effectively. Capable of scheduling, ordering, inventory management, prep work, and line cooking. Strong work ethic and leadership abilities.
