Long-term Substitute - Evening Custodian

POSITION: Long-term Substitute, Evening Custodian � Full-time (40 hours per week) Anticipated work schedule: Monday-Friday 2:00 pm-10:00 pm LOCATION: Thalberg Elementary School SALARY: $26.19 per hour DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Southington Public Schools is seeking a long-term substitute custodian to provide coverage at Thalberg Elementary School through December 2026 (anticipated).

The successful candidate will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff while supporting the daily operations of the school. Please note that this is a temporary assignment and does not include benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent. Possess a basic understanding of the need for building cleanliness and use of housekeeping equipment. Exhibit ability to get along with faculty, students and visitors. Exhibit ability to understand the necessity for the safety and security of the building and occupants. Demonstrate evidence of being in good physical health to meet the demands of the position.
