Fleet Mechanic

Capitol Helicopters Inc.is currently accepting resumes for a Fleet Mechanic. Qualified Candidates must have mechanical experience on gas and diesel vehicles. In addition to this experience, mechanics with a Commercial Drivers License is preferred. Job Requirements: Must be 18 or older High School Diploma or Equivalent Must pass random drug/alcohol screening Class C Driver’s License or greater CDL Preferred (California Driver License) Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs or more.

Previous Mechanic experience Ability to organize, plan and execute projects with minimal supervision Knowledge of maintenance and repair to light and heavy vehicles Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, drivetrain, powertrain systems Fleet Mechanic Responsibilities: Fleet Mechanic Reports Directly to the Fleet Manager Safely performs maintenance, repairs, and inspections Troubleshoot and repair or replace components Maintains communication with reporting supervisor for repair/inspection details Ability to communicate professionally and effectively Ensures equipment is clean and presentable Promote the use of the Safety Management System amongst peers as the path to achieving safety objectives Must maintain a professional image and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
