Property Inspector - Single Family Homes
Job description
TL;DR Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about real estate? Join our Field Operations Team as a Field Evaluator — where you'll help protect our clients' investments, ensure resident satisfaction, and keep properties in excellent condition. You'll spend most of your time in the field, performing property evaluations and addressing on-site needs, with some team collaboration and administrative work as well.
Recent college graduate? This could be the perfect launching pad for your career in real estate! If you have a degree in property management, business, communications, or a related field and are looking to build real-world experience in the industry, we'd love to hear from you. We hire for this role regularly. While we may not have an immediate opening today, we’re always interested in connecting with experienced candidates for upcoming opportunities.
What You Will Own & Improve: Conduct occupied and vacant property evaluations: Renewal, Annual, Semi-Annual, Move-In, Move-Out, Onboarding, and Smoke Detector checks. Visit vacant properties for walk-throughs, occupancy checks, and showing feedback. Address on-site issues (violations, break-ins, maintenance concerns).
Communicate with your team, complete weekly audits, and join team meetings. What You Already Know: 2+ years of experience in property management, inspection, construction, or maintenance (preferred) — or a relevant degree with a strong desire to learn. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Great communication and problem-solving skills with residents and teammates. Comfortable with technology (smartphone, computer, software systems). Valid driver's license and clean driving record. How Success is Measured: This role is straightforward: complete all evaluations within the required timeframe while ensuring asset preservation and client satisfaction.
