Candlewood MS Head Basketball Coach

Candlewood MS Head Basketball Coach HHH is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Head Basketball Coach for Candlewood Middle School, for one of the two MS teams. We're looking for a coach passionate about developing young athletes, building a positive team culture, and using athletics as a platform for character development.

Qualifications

Coaching experience in basketball Strong technical knowledge of the sport and commitment to continued education Ability to develop middle school student-athletes and model positive character, sportsmanship, and leadership Reports To: Athletic Director Key Responsibilities Build and sustain a team culture grounded in respect, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship Plan and oversee practices, game preparation, and player development Teach basketball fundamentals while creating meaningful opportunities for student-athlete growth and participation Collaborate with the athletic department and high school basketball program to support program continuity Support student-athletes' academic success, leadership, and well-being Ensure compliance with district, league, and state policies Manage equipment, uniforms, and program logistics Maintain positive and professional communication with student-athletes, families, staff, and the school community Stipend: $5838 Interested candidates may apply using the "apply" link above or by visiting the district website: Career Opportunities https://www.
