Part-Time Fresh & Frozen Stocker *Day Shifts*

Description Kimberton Whole Foods in Collegeville is hiring for a part-time Fresh & Frozen Stocker! Availability: Part-time, up to 24 hours per week. Set Schedule: Sundays and Wednesdays 9:30am-3:00pm. Possible Friday shift 9:30am-3:00pm. Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older Hourly Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.

The Fresh & Frozen Stocker’s Primary Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to all. Receive and stock all incoming refrigerated/frozen items including fresh meat and fish, local eggs and dairy, fresh bakery items and specialty products. Stock and handle products following guidelines for time and temperature demands.

Rotate backstock on a first-in first-out basis. Awareness of the general inventory and priorities of the department Maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department. Follow KWF cleaning practices including weekly cleaning of the meat, dairy and prepared food cases. Assist the Front End by scanning customers' groceries and completing all transactions efficiently.

Carefully and efficiently bags groceries. Assist in other areas of the store as needed.

Requirements

Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.

Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. Standing- prolonged standing. Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).

Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
