• Avon, IN, Position Type: Internship, Salary Range: Undisclosed, We are seeking an Dealership Lube Technician to join our fast-paced automotive service team. You will perform high-quality, efficient preventative maintenance while identifying additional service needs to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

Drain and refill engine oil, replace filters, and top off all critical automotive fluids. Conduct tire maintenance: Execute tire rotations, precision mounting, balancing, and pressure checks. Execute multi-point inspections: Inspect brake pads, lines, hoses, belts, and underbody components thoroughly. Document and communicate: Record all work on repair orders and report additional repair needs clearly to Service Advisors.

Maintain shop safety: Keep work bays clean, organized, and compliant with dealership and OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

Requirements

& Qualifications Technical skills: Proficient with basic automotive tools, fluid exchange machines, and tire equipment. Physical ability: Able to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Credentials: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must have dependable transportation. Mindset: Strong attention to detail, a positive team attitude, and a focus on safety.
