Job Details: Salary Range: Undisclosed, Join our team and make a difference in your community! Butte Hospice is seeking volunteers to help us in our mission to support local families at a time when they need help the most. Hospice volunteers provide breaks for families, provide companionship, and even help with light household chores.

Hospice volunteers are a vital part of our team. Volunteers are also needed in our Chico office, for those who may not want to work directly with families and patients Qualifications: Must love serving the senior population Intentions of a year or more commitment for regular volunteers ( students may have semester agreements) Must have emotional maturity, sensitivity, listening skills, successful incorporation of losses in own life, and ability to accept people as they are.

Willing to commit roughly 2 hours per week and attend quarterly meetings.
