Mc. Kinley is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Resident Experience Coordinator to support the on-site team in delivering a welcoming and positive experience for residents and prospective renters. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy working with people, learning new systems, and building foundational skills in leasing and community operations while upholding Mc.
Kinley’s service standards. Position: Resident Experience Coordinator Location: In-Person Orlando/Winter Park Compensation: $21 per hour plus bonus potential Start Date: November 9th, 2026 (non-negotiable) The first five weeks of this position are designed to provide a strong foundation for success through hands-on training and mentorship with an experienced Mc.
Kinley Mentor at their home community. This is an exciting opportunity to learn directly from a seasoned team member, gain valuable insight into the role, and experience Mc. Kinley’s best practices firsthand. Upon successfully completing the initial training period, the Coordinator will transition to their assigned home community the week of December 14, 2026, ready to put their new skills and knowledge into action.
Full attendance and engagement throughout this onboarding experience are critical to building the knowledge, confidence, and relationships needed to be successful in the role.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact by providing friendly, professional service to residents and prospects Assist with apartment tours and leasing activities alongside the Resident Experience Associate and Community Manager Learn and communicate community features, amenities, and Mc. Kinley brand standards to prospects Support community presentation by maintaining leasing paths, amenities, and model apartment readiness Respond to resident and prospect inquiries via phone, email, text, and in person in a timely and professional manner Accurately document interactions, service requests, and activities in Yardi and other required systems Assist with marketing initiatives, promotions, and resident communications as directed Complete assigned daily and weekly operational workflows Participate in resident events and community engagement activities Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment Adhere to Fair Housing laws, company policies, and compliance requirements Maintain flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in a customer service role preferred (property management experience is a plus) Strong communication skills with the ability to respond effectively to resident and prospect inquiries Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt to changing priorities Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, percentages, ratios, and proportions Basic knowledge and understanding of Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunity laws Ability to understand and follow safety rules and procedures Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for outreach and travel between communities as needed Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Physical, on-site attendance required for all scheduled shifts Work may involve outdoor conditions while touring the community and supporting leasing activities Moderate noise level in typical work environments Frequent standing, walking, stair climbing, and use of hands and arms Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds Vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception Why This Role This position is ideal for candidates looking to: Build foundational experience in property management and leasing operations Develop strong customer service and resident engagement skills Gain hands-on exposure to community operations and marketing efforts Grow within a supportive team environment while learning Mc.
