Job description
The City of Elk River is seeking an experienced skater and instructor for our Skating Academy. The Instructor Level III will teach Learn to Skate classes from Snow Plow Sam through Basic 5 while creating a safe, positive and fun learning environment.
Candidates must have strong skating skills, six years of experience teaching in a group setting, the ability to remain on the ice for at least three hours, and three years of experience with production of an ice show or equivalent.
Starting pay: $20/hour (2026 range: $20–$24/hour). Part-time position with Earned Sick and Safe Time and PERA benefits, if eligible.
