Gift Shop Associate

R.J. Corman’s My Old Kentucky Dinner Train is currently seeking a Gift Shop Associate to join our team in Bardstown, KY.

Responsibilities

Perform clerk duties, including checking guests in and assisting with boarding. Process sales transactions (cash and credit), assist customers with product selection, bagging, wrapping, and payments. Maintain gift shop cleanliness and ensure merchandise is properly stocked. Monitor, record, and report gift shop inventory.

Create visually appealing merchandise displays to enhance the customer experience. Assist reservation staff with duties as needed. Specialized or Technical Knowledge, or Education and Experience: Prior cash handling and customer service experience preferred. Strong communication skills with an enthusiasm for sales and guest interaction.

Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty, and strong work ethic. Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements: Requires constant standing and walking. Able to frequently bend, stoop, and reach . Able to correctly lift and transport objects up to 75 lbs. Environmental Conditions: Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours with appropriate mobility and endurance.
