Behavioral Health Specialist II - PHP

Holyoke Medical Center is looking to hire a Behavioral Health Specialist II for our PHP/IOP Programs! * To facilitate group therapy focused on mental health and substance use.# * To provide case management services and link patients with aftercare/discharge planning. * To provide intakes/psychosocial assessments for incoming patients.

• Ability to work with patients with co-occurring mental illness and substance use.# * To complete insurance verifications/reviews.# * To complete paperwork in a timely and organized fashion.# * To participate in multidisciplinary#weekly treatment team meetings.# Level of education required:# M.Ed., M.A, M.S., MSW, Ph.

D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.# In addition, must hold LMHC, LICSW,# or Licensed Psychologist within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts;# Two years within clinical specialty, with at least one year in psychiatric crisis intervention, inpatient social work; PHP/IOP setting desirable.
