Job description
Harmony Aesthetics & Wellness Kensington, Maryland | On-site At Harmony Aesthetics & Wellness, we believe aesthetic medicine should never feel one-size-fits-all. Our approach is centered around understanding each client, educating them about their options, and creating thoughtful treatment plans that combine medical expertise, advanced technology, and natural-looking results.
Our philosophy is simple: Beauty Guided by Science. We are looking for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who shares that philosophy and wants to grow with our practice. The Opportunity This is more than an injector position. We are looking for a provider who wants to become an important part of Harmony — someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, developing individualized treatment plans, and using different aesthetic modalities to address each person's needs.
The right provider will have hands-on experience with neuromodulators and dermal fillers and an interest or background in laser and energy-based aesthetic treatments. You will work alongside our Medical Director and team in a practice where continuing education, clinical judgment, patient safety, and professional growth are strongly encouraged.
What Your Role Will Look Like You will:
- Meet with clients for aesthetic consultations and understand their individual concerns and goals
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on appropriate clinical assessment and client goals
- Perform neuromodulator and dermal filler treatments within your licensure, training, competency, and applicable Maryland requirements
- Perform laser and energy-based aesthetic treatments for which you are appropriately trained and authorized
- Educate clients about treatment options, expected outcomes, potential risks, contraindications, and appropriate pre- and post-treatment care
- Follow clients throughout their aesthetic journey and modify treatment plans when clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, informed consent, photography, and safety standards
- Recognize when treatment is not appropriate and refer or consult when necessary
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients
- Help develop and maintain your client base while contributing to the continued growth of Harmony
- Participate in appropriate continuing education, manufacturer training, and clinical training Technology at Harmony One of the things that makes Harmony different is the variety of technologies available within one practice. Depending on the provider's training, competency, licensure, and scope of practice, opportunities may include:
- Neuromodulators
- Dermal fillers
- Fotona SP Dynamis
- CO₂ laser
- IPL
- Q-Switched Nd laser
- Scarlet RF
- Agnes RF
- RF microneedling
- Skin rejuvenation and collagen-stimulating treatments
- Additional aesthetic and wellness services At Harmony, we want our providers to understand why and when to use each technology, not simply how to operate a device. Who We Are Looking For We would love to meet an FNP or PA who:
- Holds a current, active, and unrestricted Maryland license and any applicable certification required for the position
- Has hands-on experience with aesthetic injectables
- Has completed appropriate neuromodulator and dermal filler education and hands-on training
- Has approximately 1–3+ years of medical aesthetics experience preferred
- Has experience with laser and/or energy-based aesthetic devices, or is motivated to continue developing these skills
- Has completed or is willing to complete appropriate device-specific training before independently performing treatments
- Understands facial anatomy, patient selection, contraindications, treatment planning, complication recognition, and patient safety
- Communicates clearly and makes clients feel comfortable, informed, and heard
- Is confident making thoughtful treatment recommendations without over-treating
- Values natural-looking results and individualized care
- Wants to continue learning and growing professionally
- Is motivated to build lasting relationships and a strong client base
- Is bilingual in English and Spanish and able to communicate professionally with clients in both languages Why Harmony Harmony Aesthetics & Wellness is a physician-led medical aesthetics and wellness practice in Kensington, Maryland built around personalized care. We are growing, and we want the provider who joins us to grow with us. This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than simply moving from appointment to appointment. We want a provider who can develop their aesthetic expertise, build their clientele, expand their knowledge of multiple technologies, and become part of the long-term vision of Harmony. We care about results, but we also care about how clients feel throughout the process — heard, informed, comfortable, and confident in their care.
