Dinning Staff

Purpose and Scope

To provide residents and guests with high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. Starting Rate 16 to 16.50 Two to Three days, one weekend day required. Sunday or Saturday, Monday and Tuesday 4pm to 7:30pm.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Provide beverage service to residents and assist with food service as needed.
2. Clear and clean tables in a timely manner.
3. Accurately record residents' food and fluid intake as required.
4. Maintain beverage stations and bussing carts, ensuring supplies are restocked according to established par levels.
5. Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and cooking and serving utensils. Store all items properly.
6. Change dining room linens and assist with setting and resetting dining tables.
7. Vacuum and maintain the cleanliness of the dining room.
8. Follow established food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
9. Provide courteous, respectful, and attentive customer service to residents and guests.
10. Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area.
11. Work cooperatively with kitchen and dining room staff to ensure efficient meal service.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

1. Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
2. Knowledge of cleanliness and sanitation practices.
3. Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
4. Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with residents, guests, and coworkers.
5. Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
6. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced dining environment.

Educational Qualifications

• Entry-level position.
• Previous food service or dining room experience preferred but not required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
