The City of Roanoke is seeking a Relief Counselor I to monitor a caseload of juvenile offenders who have been court ordered to comply with the Outreach Detention Program. The incumbent exercises independent judgment and initiative in the day-to-day monitoring of the assigned caseload, demonstrating a thorough familiarity with agency functions and basic knowledge of community resources.
Maintains documentation of all contacts with clients and all other professionals involved. Receives general supervision and guidance from the Outreach Detention Coordinator.
