Elementary Teacher

Job Goal: To create a flexible elementary grade program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for elementary grade education, in accordance with each pupil's ability; to establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.

Contract: One hundred eighty one (181) contract days / temporary contract. Salary: District scale. Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Site Principal in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policies and state law.

EDUCATION

Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education and/or early childhood. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate with elementary and/or early childhood endorsements. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee must be able to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
