Permitting Coordinator- Service Division

Hypower, LLC is currently looking for a Permitting Coordinator to join our growing Service Division! Are you organized, detail-oriented, and great at keeping projects moving? We're looking for someone who can help coordinate permitting processes, communicate with municipalities, track permit applications, and support our Service team to ensure projects move forward smoothly and efficiently.

What we're looking for

Strong organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Experience with permitting, administrative coordination, or construction is a plus. A proactive team player who enjoys keeping things on track.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, submit, and track permit applications. Coordinate with local municipalities and permitting offices. Follow up on permit approvals, corrections, and outstanding documentation. Maintain accurate records of permits and project documentation. Communicate permit status updates to the Service Division team. Ensure all required permits and documentation are obtained before work begins.

Qualifications

& Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in permitting, construction administration, or project coordination preferred. Knowledge of building permits, municipal requirements, and permitting processes is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally with municipalities, inspectors, customers, and internal teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word). Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines. Strong follow-up skills and ability to track multiple permit applications simultaneously.

Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
