BN31M1-Manager, Scientific AI Engineering & Data Science

CAS is hiring a Manager, Scientific AI Engineering & Data Science to lead a team building the AI behind our scientific discovery products — including CAS Newton, our agentic AI, and CAS Connections, our enterprise MCP and partner integration framework. This is a people-leadership role: you'll hire, coach, and develop a team of data scientists and AI engineers and create the conditions for them to do their best work.

You'll also reach beyond your own reports — driving cross-cutting initiatives and partner programs and representing the team to customers, partners, and the scientific community. The role calls for the credibility to lead a technical team (fluency across LLMs, agentic AI, and modern ML), a talent for growing people, and enterprise-wide thinking as we scale AI at CAS.
