Shelving Page (Part-Time/Fishers)

Hamilton East Public Library is currently accepting applications for a part-time (average 20 hours per week) Shelving Page at our Fishers location. The pay is $11.90 per hour . This position is year-round (not seasonal) and requires a flexible schedule that includes days and weekends. The schedule for this position is on a 4-week repeating cycle and is as follows: Day Cycle 1 Cycle 2 Cycle 3 Cycle 4 Monday 12 PM - 5 PM Off 12 PM - 5 PM Off Tuesday 9 AM – 2 PM 9 AM – 2 PM 9 AM – 2 PM 9 AM – 2 PM Wednesday Off Off Off Off Thursday 12 PM - 5 PM 12 PM - 5 PM 12 PM - 5 PM 12 PM - 5 PM Friday Off 12 PM - 5 -PM Off 12 PM - 5 PM Saturday 9 AM - 2 PM Off 9 AM - 2 PM Off Sunday 12 PM - 5-PM Off 12 PM - 5 PM Off To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Essential Functions

Shelves or files returned library materials to correct location. Checks assigned shelves for neatness and to insure that items are maintained in their proper call number order. Shifts shelves/collections as needed. Checks for overdue materials, missing items, etc. Prepares carts of returned materials to be shelved. Performs other duties as assigned.
