Forklift/Machine Operator

Forklift & Machine Operators Needed Hanes Industries, Inc. in Conover, NC, a division of Leggett & Platt (NYSE: LEG), are seeking forklift & machine operators. Hanes Industries is the leading converter and distributor of nonwoven and woven fabrics used in a variety of markets.

Qualifications

Reliable work history Comfortable working in an industrial warehouse environment Ability to work well in a team environment. Basic math skills Forklift experience a plus Ability to lift 75 to 100 pounds. Read and follow instructions on converting orders. Perform routine operations on machine (load, set-up, doff) - make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.

Production reporting to be neat and accurate. Ability to work overtime and mandatory Saturdays as needed. 1st shift hours are 6:30am - 2:30pm Monday thru Friday. 2nd shift hours are 2:30pm - 10:30pm Monday thru Friday. 3rd shift hours are 10:30pm - 6:30am Sunday thru Thursday. We offer a weekly attendance bonus. We offer a shift premium for working 2nd or 3rd shift.
