Successful candidates will find significant opportunity for career advancement within KCD. Job Description The warehouse associate is responsible for specialized warehouse tasks in loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, or may have a generalized role working in all departments.

Responsibilities

Loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods. Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials, such as boxes or pallets as well as shipping trucks. Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.

Process paperwork necessary for order completion. Verify computations against physical count of stock – Cycle Counting. Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.) Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same. Operate machinery in order to complete tasks.

Utilize RF equipment when fulfilling orders. Performs other duties as assigned. Promotes a safe work environment through personal actions. Identify and report any concerns.

Qualifications

Must be organized and detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize A driven, hard-working individual with a team-oriented mindset Experience utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS) 2+ years distribution/ order picking experience Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. repetitively and up to 140 lbs. with assistance HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Knowledge of machines and tools.
