The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating with students, staff, and families and be able to maintain a professional and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain a safe and secure school environment. Greet and assist students, staff, parents, and visitors in a professional manner. Communicate effectively with students and staff in English and Spanish. Monitor entrances, exits, hallways, and common areas. Follow all school safety policies and procedures. Report any safety concerns, incidents, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with student arrival, dismissal, and daily activities as needed. Help maintain order and professionalism throughout the school. Respond to questions and provide basic assistance to students, staff, and visitors. Complete required reports and documentation accurately. Work cooperatively with school staff and management.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must be bilingual in English and Spanish High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in a school, security, customer service, or administrative environment preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to work well with students, staff, and the public Ability to follow instructions, policies, and procedures Must demonstrate patience, responsibility, and good judgment Ability to maintain a safe, respectful, and professional school environment Must be available to work a part-time schedule in the Bronx, NY Must be eligible to work in the United States Licensing: CA PPO 15200 | AZ DPS 1609999 | TX DPS B18160 | MD MSPD 106-5206 | WASH MPD SAB2002271 | HI 1111 | NJ SORA 1793 | NY 11000213558 AX9 Security, Inc.
