Job description

Sandhills Veterinary Hospital is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

  • Compensation: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour, for each hour worked
  • This is a full-time or part-time position, with a4 x 10 schedule for full time, working 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday. No weekends and no on-call requirements.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role required

  • Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front desk experience preferred

  • Proficiency in the following skills:

  • Ability to manage a multi-line phone system while assisting in-person clients

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow preferred

  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records

  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team

  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during busy periods

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
