Service Technician - Class C

Dealership: L0593 Priority Honda Chesapeake Automotive Service Technician (Class C) Pay: This position is considered an flat-rate position where you will make $20.00 per flat-rate hour . Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Final compensation will be determined through the interview process and in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.

Schedule: Our Service Department operates during the following hours: Monday

• Friday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sunday: Closed Candidates must be available during service department operating hours and willing to work rotating Saturdays. What You'll Do

Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and fluid checks. Complete vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs. Assist with basic automotive repairs and services under dealership and manufacturer guidelines. Perform brake services, alignments, tire installations, and other entry-level repair work.

Document repair recommendations and inspection findings accurately. Maintain productivity while delivering quality workmanship. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies. Participate in Honda and dealership training programs to continue developing technical skills.

Support a positive team environment focused on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

Previous automotive service, lube technician, express technician, or mechanical experience preferred. ASE certifications are a plus, but not required. Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures. Desire to learn and grow within an automotive service career path. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift and move automotive parts and equipment as needed.
