Our client, a leading CSP in Malta, is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a tax professional to lead planning of strategies, advise on complex transactions, and support junior team members. This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €45K . Please note that only candidates already based in Malta can be considered.
Role & Responsibilities Lead tax-planning and implementation strategies to optimise clients' tax liability Advise on tax considerations for corporate restructuring, financing, M&As, and cross-border investments Assist local and international clients with tax advisory engagements Support tax compliance, including preparation of corporate tax returns and refund applications Assist with tax audits and liaise with tax authorities Deliver technical training and provide support to the accounting and audit teams Keep up to date with local and international direct tax developments Identify opportunities for the team's growth and propose improvements to systems and processes as needed Assist junior team members as their main point of contact and review their work Education, Skills & Experience ACCA qualified or equivalent 2+ years of post-qualification experience within a CSP Excellent understanding of accounting standards and Maltese tax legislation Fluency in Maltese at a native level – both written and spoken – non-negotiable Fluency in English both written and spoken Fluency in another language is a plus Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proactive, able to work independently and within a team Strong client relationship skills with a passion for delivering exceptional service About the Role Salary of up to €45K depending on experience Hybrid working model – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home (after probation) Opportunities for career growth and professional development Kindly apply with your detailed CV in English.
