Job description

Director, Product Management, Managed Mobility Services Reports to the Chief Product & Technology Officer | Remote, US-based | Travel as needed (under 20%) About Tangoe Tangoe is the leader in IT Expense Management, with 25+ years of experience and 12 of the Fortune 20 as customers, and Mobile is a core part of that story.

Gartner included Tangoe in its 2026 Market Guide for Managed Mobility Services (MMS), and Tangoe One Mobile was named 2026 Mobile Device Management Solution of the Year, our fourth consecutive win. Momentum is strong across the company, with first-half 2026 new-logo bookings up 93% year over year. Read more: First-half 2026 momentum | Mobile award | Bookings growth The Role Own the Tangoe Mobile product line as a business.

You are the primary product leader for our mobility platform, accountable for growth, a global footprint, and a roadmap that wins with Fortune 2000 enterprises. You will lead a global team of five Product Managers and Product Owners and partner with Engineering, UX, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success. We’re looking for a software product leader who has successfully scaled product lines, is equally credible in the C-suite and with agile product teams, and uses AI as an integral part of their daily work.

What You’ll Own End-user experience: shopping, ordering, and catalog management. Expense management: mobile expense management for finance and IT buyers. Device and line operations: inventory and asset lifecycle, procurement and fulfillment, enrollment and provisioning. Ecosystem: UEM/MDM integrations (ex. Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune), Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) partnerships, Apple Business Manager (ABM), and automation and workflow optimization.

What You’ll Do Set strategy and drive growth. Own the multi-year vision and roadmap, tie each bet to revenue, margin, and retention, and pursue our target of 20-30% annual growth through new offerings, higher attach and adoption, and market-competitive pricing and packaging. Know the market. Track competitors across MMS, UEM, and mobile security, and turn what you learn into positioning and roadmap decisions.

Define and report adoption, attach, retention, and customer satisfaction metrics. Deliver with modern practices. Run discovery through release with Agile discipline across the full SDLC. Use AI in your own work and your team’s and find where it adds value in the product. Hold the standard for requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and make UX part of every release.

Win with Sales and customers. Lead go-to-market with Sales and Marketing: segmentation, pricing, packaging, positioning, and enablement. Join RFPs, RFIs, executive briefings, and key deals with Solution Architects, and serve as executive sponsor for strategic accounts. Build partnerships. Structure and manage the business and technology partnerships inclusive of UEM/MDM, MTD, and other logistics providers, that extend the platform.

Serve global finance and IT buyers. Meet the needs of the Office of the CFO as well as IT and mobility managers, across carriers, currencies, regions, and compliance and data privacy requirements. Lead the team. Hire, coach, and develop a globally distributed team of product managers and owners. Work with Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, Procurement and Logistics, and Implementation to ship what customers adopt quickly.

What You Bring Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. Mobility depth. 10+ years of product management with deep experience in the mobility industry. Product experience at a Tier 1 mobile carrier is preferred. A software-first background. You have led software product management, ideally inside a mobile operator, and know how software is built, shipped, and monetized.

Network or connectivity-only experience is not enough. A growth record. You have scaled a product line, launched offerings that landed, and grown revenue and adoption. We are hiring for growth, not steady state or turnaround. Deep SDLC and Agile expertise, and a working habit of using AI in everyday tasks and in product delivery.

Commercial acumen and executive presence. You can lead customer conversations, support Sales in complex deals, build a business case, and defend pricing to a CFO. Experience building business and technology partnerships that enabled a product line. Experience with global teams and international product lines, including compliance and data privacy.

Experience developing products and solutions for Fin. Tech and Office of the CFO customers. 5+ years leading Product Managers and Product Owners, including globally distributed teams. Working command of MMS, mobile security and MTD, device lifecycle management, and SaaS platforms, plus a clear grasp of what UEM/MDM systems do and why integrating them adds value.

Expense management experience is preferred.

Nice to Have

Device lifecycle and logistics operations (procurement, provisioning, deployment, repair, reverse logistics), Apple Business Manager, or mobile commerce and ordering platforms.
