Mapping our Nursing degree: Help us tell the story (Chelmsford)

ARU, ChelmsfordTemporaryPosted Nov 5, 2026

Job description

We are looking for Nursing students to support the upcoming Mapping our Nursing degree session! Job Title: Mapping our Nursing degree: Help us tell the story Location: ARU chelmsford Date: Tuesday 17th November Times: 11:00 - 14:00 Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour Number of positions: 3 Description of Role: Your nursing degree is a journey, but has anyone ever shown you the whole map? You spend your time between lectures, skills sessions and placements, gaining clinical knowledge and building the human skills that make a great nurse: communication, compassion, resilience, judgement. But how do all these pieces fit together? When do you learn them and how ? And do they actually build on each other the way they should? That’s what we want to find out, with you. This will be a hands-on session to map the nursing degree from start to finish. We’ll look at theory and placement side by side, identify key skills and ask where the key skills should be introduced, practised and strengthened, and work out how to scaffold them so you feel ready at every stage. You’re the ones living this course, so you know where the links are strong and where they snap. Your voice will shape a co-created map of the degree, and that map will be used to design the future of the degree.

Requirements

Be a current ARU Nursing student, studying any discipline! In the final year of your Nursing degree (preferred) Be reliable, punctual and able to attend the entire session. Closing date: 15th November 2026 Please apply by clicking the apply button below!
