Responsibilities

Provide companionship and supervision to patients adjusting to life in a rehabilitation facility

Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff

Assist with patient safety and comfort

Follow infection control and safety procedures

Maintain patient dignity, confidentiality, and rights

Support a positive and respectful care environment

Qualifications

Active New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required

Completion of a NY State Department of Health approved HHA Training Program or equivalent

Must be 18 years of age or older

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

Strong compassion, reliability, and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to bend, lift, and assist adult clients

Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs

Compensation

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
