Registered Nurse: Roots to Recovery- Per Diem- 7363

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: To provide clinical nursing services to clients experiencing substance use and behavioral health issues in a 24/7 residential setting. By: •Providing nursing assessment and clinical interventions and assists with medical management for clients with mental illness, addictions and/or serious emotional disorders who are experiencing symptoms requiring treatment. •Providing individual, group psychoeducation as well as crisis intervention as needed. •Working with MD or APRN to supervise prescribing and administration of medications to clients and provides medication education as required by the program. Provides oversight of medication administration, efficacy of medications and potential side effects.
