Customer Account Manager

Description General Summary: Provide overall management and direction in the areas of accounting with a strong focus on customer relationships while performing various accounting functions regarding customer billing and account reconciliation.

Essential Functions

• Manage and process daily ticket batches related to propane and fuel deliveries.
• Record account corrections and general ledger entries for customer accounts.
• Review daily fuel prices based on the industry market.
• Processing customer payments and preparing daily deposits.
• Process weekly freight billing to a select group of customers.
• Accurately generate invoices for weekly product deliveries.
• Inputting annual propane and diesel contracts based on the needs of our customers.
• Handle customer phone calls, input orders, and assist with account questions while providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Understanding accounting best practices.
• Data entry skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong mastery of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to learn new computer systems.
• Produce work with a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. Educations/Experience: High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2-4 years as an Accountant. Proficient in Excel. Flexibility and adaptability, with the skills to relate well throughout all levels of the company.
