Inside Sales-Material Handling

RMH Systems, one of the largest material handling, packaging, and industrial scale integrators in the Midwest, is currently seeking a well-organized and self-motivated Inside Sales Representative to support our sales operations. The primary objective for this role is to help support our sales team and grow our business.

This role is a combination of customer support, sales support, project coordination, order quoting, and order entry. Our inside team works hard to make sure our projects are organized, and that our sales/engineering teams have what they need to be successful. Our inside team is the first contact point for our customer base.

This individual needs to be organized, detail-oriented, positive, and reliable. This individual is responsible for order entry, order quoting, and aftermarket follow-up. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Enter orders daily as provided by the outside sales team. Customer service – answering phone calls, making aftermarket service phone calls, following up on orders, managing freight, etc.

Act as liaison between our customers and company sales and parts departments. Coordinate customer functions with other departments to ensure timely delivery and installation. Manage smaller equipment & parts quotes and ordering. Provide project coordination on larger projects to assist in organizing details with large system orders.

Maintain a high level of communication with other departments to stay abreast of pricing, equipment updates, specials, etc. Assist with the preparation of quotes and proposals in concert with other interested departments. Maintain the customer contact file with monthly updates. Backup other inside sales teams members when needed.

Minimum Requirements: 2-year Associates Degree and similar experience in inside sales, or Bachelor's Degree in related field. Strong computer and typing skills with the ability to use Outlook and Microsoft Office products. Strong communication skills & self-starter Mechanical ability or industry experience a plus. Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.

Pay Range
