Senior Account Executive, Outbound
Job description
About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive, Outbound, the most experienced Account Executive on the team, focused exclusively on winning net-new subscriber logos among the largest, most strategic prospects - enterprise-calibre institutions with complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes - who do not yet subscribe to any PEI Group platform.
Responsibilities
Build and work an outbound pipeline of net-new prospect accounts within the Outbound segment. Run full-cycle new-business sales: prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation and close. Use multi-channel outreach — call, email, social, event follow-up — to break into target accounts. Qualify and prioritise whitespace using firmographic and market data.
Mentor Mid-Market and Junior Outbound Account Executives on prospecting technique and deal strategy. Hand won accounts off cleanly to Customer Success and the relevant segment Account Executive for onboarding. Maintain an accurate, forecast-quality new-business pipeline in the CRM.
About You
Qualification & Experience 7+ years of new business/enterprise B2B sales experience, ideally in subscription, media, data or information services. Demonstrated ability to build pipeline from cold with little or no inbound support. Technical Skills Strong negotiation and consultative-selling skills. Strong executive presence and comfort leading complex, multi-stakeholder new-logo deals with large organisations.
Personal Attributes Resilient, self-motivated and comfortable with a high-activity outbound cadence. An interest in private markets and private equity, and enthusiasm to learn the asset class.
